Vice President of Professional Services

Your Role:

Tenable Network Security is seeking to hire a Vice President of Global Professional Services. In this role, you will be tasked with continuing to build, manage and direct our global implementation, customer education, services portfolio and operations teams. The Vice President of Global Professional Services is an experienced, enthusiastic, hands-on strategic leader who can promote our industry best security products and supporting services that we bring to customers of all sizes and in many global locations. You will oversee multiple concurrent customer deployment projects with the number one goal to ensure long-term customer success. You will collaborate with sales, sales engineering, product, and customer support teams. Additionally, you Finally, you will also be responsible for the continuous improvement of services offerings, delivery processes and methods that support Tenable’s Cyber Exposure vision. This role will report to the Chief Operating Officer.

Your Opportunity:
  • Lead professional services team; attract and develop talent; create and foster a positive environment for the team
  • Define a services portfolio that supports strategic security services, customer and partner onboarding, and general implementation needs by leveraging consulting and customer education offerings.
  • Continue to scale global organization to support successful deployments of Tenable solutions.
  • Maintain key customer relationships, serving as the company sponsor for key deployments.
  • Provide thought leadership and best practice development for successfully deploying Tenable solutions that help reduce customer’s Cyber Exposure risk.
  • Oversee successful delivery of multiple, concurrent deployment projects.
  • Manage the business operations to include P&L, annual planning and forecasting
  • Work closely with Sales and channels, Technical Support, and Development teams to deliver customer success and realized value.
  • Enable, certify, and monitor partner delivered services ensuring consistent, successful delivery of Tenable’s solution across the entire eco-system in a cost-effective structure.
  • Be proactive in providing outstanding design and deployment services resulting in outstanding customer satisfaction.
  • Establish a mutually beneficial feedback loop between Professional Services customers and product management to drive improvements in product development.
  • Lead interaction and collaboration with other internal teams such as Engineering and Support as needed to address escalated issues.
  • Interact with all levels of management and roles within the customer organization and Tenable.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team on evolving into a service led sales strategy for new potential customers and collaborate with sales and customer success regarding existing customers up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Shape and influence Tenable’s growth and scalability, by designing new offerings, and finding new ways to deliver amazing customer experience.

What you'll need:

  • BA or BS Degree with 10+ years of experience in Professional Services management within an enterprise software company
  • International business management experience
  • Strong senior leadership and team building skills and experience
  • Professional services business development and delivery experience
  • Ability to have CxO level discussions about how to successfully deploy solutions
  • An impeccable track record of delivering customer success.
  • Strong project management acumen
  • Experience with both consulting and customer education business management
  • Excellent communication skills, including issue tracking, triaging and escalation management
  • Experience in process improvement, decision making, managing processes, planning, analyzing information and developing standards
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal organizations to drive customer success
