Sr. Director - Americas Marketing

Your Role:

The Sr. Director, Americas Marketing, is responsible for driving pipeline growth and brand awareness in support of the Tenable go-to-market strategy for the Americas, including North America, Tenable Public Sector and Latin America. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Marketing, this role will be responsible for planning, execution and measurement of ROI for field and channel marketing programs in the region. You will manage a team that is directly responsible for developing integrated marketing plans targeting both prospects and customers that will result in increased pipeline and brand awareness.

Your Opportunity:

  • Lead a team of experienced regional marketers, driving regional-level demand generation strategy and execution across the Americas
  • Develop and execute programs to build the Tenable profile as a thought leader and innovator in the cybersecurity industry
  • Partner closely with sales, operations and global campaigns/cross-functional marketing teams to ensure strategy aligns to overall corporate objectives and revenue goals
  • Drive predictable cadence of scalable regional campaigns/programs with experience in building account-based marketing
  • Focus on driving qualified sales qualified pipeline via high quality, integrated marketing programs and best-in-class processes for lead follow-up to optimize lead volumes/conversions
  • Develop marketing initiatives and co-marketing programs to generate pipeline with and through Partners in the region, including channel partners (Distributors, VARs, Service Providers, etc.) and Ecosystem Partners (technology alliance partners)
  • Evaluate progress and results of all key marketing campaigns through regular lead and pipeline tracking
  • Analyze results in terms of ROI and success criteria (attraction, engagement, qualification, acceleration) 

What you'll need:

  • Experience creating and implementing proven successful strategies for Enterprise B2B pipeline generation (Field and Channel)
  • Experience managing a team of experienced marketing professionals
  • BA in Marketing or related field, with minimum of 7-10 years of technology marketing experience preferably in network/cyber security 
  • Thorough field and channel marketing background with responsibilities for multiple, multi-touch marketing initiatives
  • Ability to build a strategic plan and clearly tie program execution and pipeline metrics up to the strategy
  • Field execution, effectiveness, ROI on planned marketing activities
  • Strong written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Strong project management, negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Ability to build relationships with peers, sales, distributors, resellers and customers
  • Use expertise and creativity for innovative marketing recommendations and solutions
  • Self-motivated, innovative and creative
  • Experience managing a budget effectively 
  • A sense of urgency and desire to work and win with a team of smart, hard working and nice people
  • A personal style that is viewed as open-minded and collaborative
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and a marketing automation platform
And ideally:
  •  Experience with Marketo preferred
