Sr. Advertising Manager

Your Role:
The Senior Digital Advertising Manager, will be responsible for new customer acquisition, through online media and website conversion. Working collaboratively with the marketing team, this role will encompass two main facets: 

The first is the focus on building and managing online digital advertising campaigns, using data driven decisions, to grow the Nessus business. Specific channels would be SEM, retargeting, display advertising, LinkedIn, facebook and more. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, self-starter with a deep understanding of how to make strategic and tactical decisions based on data, and develop creative ideas to continually drive incremental improvement. 

Second is the focus on conversion and website optimization through continuous testing and refinement of digital ads, SEM copy and landing pages. The ideal candidate for this role has vast experience working with internal resources and external creative agencies to develop, test and optimize display ads, ad copy and landing pages to drive measurable results against KPIs. A keen understanding of google analytics and the correlation/relationship between SEM and SEO is key.

Your Opportunity:

  • Plan, design and execute paid search marketing campaigns to support the Nessus/high velocity product line, managing agency relationships, and a $3M annual budget
  • Drive data-driven decisions around what content to feature, where to spend budget and which calls-to-action to place
  • Improve bidding, keyword, creative and reporting systems
  • Guide the development of landing pages and conversion paths with creative agency. Continuously test and drive towards high quality conversions that go deeper in the funnel
  • Set quarterly and annual traffic goals and own budget and spending analysis to maximize yield from paid campaigns
  • Proactive explore and test new campaign types, tactics and strategies to create a system of continual optimization and improvement
  • Manage the day to day agency relationship and quarterly ad spend

What you'll need: 

  • 8+ years of paid search marketing (SEM) experience running global campaigns in multiple regions
  • Extensive experience managing landing page and user journey optimization programs, working with agencies, content writers and designers.
  • Experience managing ad agency relationships
  • Experience managing and sticking to budgets
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a passion for testing and measuring results including deciphering incremental impact and test results. Well versed in Google Analytics, SEO keyword ranking and analysis, and testing methodologies.
  • Experience working closely with Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc.
  • Expertise in social, retargeting, other digital acquisition channels
  • Knowledge of Marketo/SFDC required with ability to set up and track campaigns
  • B2B (SMB) experience a plus.
  • Rock solid project management skills, with the ability to successfully coordinate the efforts of multiple teams to quickly take projects from ideation to launch.
  • Strong organization skills, meticulously thorough and tenacious. 
  • Must be independent and comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving & largely remote-based environment.
