Your Role:

Tenable Network Security seeks a Sr. Solution Architect for the System Integrator and Managed Services channel partners. Provides communication internally and externally for assigned Tenable products. We are rapidly growing and seek a seasoned, high energy, and driven Senior Solutions Architect/Sales Engineer with strong knowledge and experience in Network Security/Security Analytics/SIEM products, Vulnerability Management and/or enterprise wide security software technologies. With additional experience in management platform Integration utilizing API and SDK technology.  Python is a huge plus.

Your Opportunity:
  • Work closely with the Director of MSSP and SI Channels, as well as internal and regional teams to identify and understand regional and innovative customer use cases and the unique value of Tenable products
  • Serve as the MSSP/SI technical expert to share Tenable’s vision, mission, and strategic initiatives with customers, partners, and security professionals.
  • Work with Strategic partners on integrating Tenable’s solutions with Partner own customer portal for visibility, dashboards, and reporting capabilities.
  • Leverage sources of competitive, market, and business data to stay on top of regional industry topics and trends
  • Prepare and organize regional thought leadership materials – including briefs, blog posts/articles, presentations, webinars, and other materials – on relevant security topics and trends
  • Deliver presentations on Tenable’s solutions to various internal and external groups, partners, and customers
  • Act as the Technical Sales lead to drive our product development on the Tenable iO platform with R&D, strategy, product management, and marketing to help them identify, validate, prioritize and drive our strategies within the MSSP and SI marketplace.
  • Support marketing events – providing industry expertise and Tenable positioning worldwide
  • Cultivate strong regional relationships with Tenable customers and security practitioners
  • Participate in discussion forums, as appropriate
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience building or maintaining Information Security products
  • Advanced knowledge of the Unix/Linux, Windows and Mac Operating Systems
  • Experience and expertise in developing and publishing technical documentation
  • Experience/understanding of security and risk management practices in enterprise environments.
  • Keen understanding of IT security industry and regional security topics and trends
  • Establish Connections with the Global MSSP and SI community.
  • Domain expertise in implementing IT security and compliance programs
  • Established connections in the regional IT security community
  • Ability to clearly articulate Tenable’s vision, strategy, and innovation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable presenting publicly in front of large crowds
  • Strong writing skills
  • 15+ years security experience
  • Security practitioner with deep understanding of security industry
  • Proven organizational skills to manage multiple projects, with tight deadlines, effectively
  • Detail oriented, highly analytical, extremely proactive, and comfortable with a high degree of autonomous research
  • Ability to synthesize technical material for various audiences (company, customers, prospects, executives, etc.)
  • Ability to perform management database integrations.<span
