Senior Recruiter

Your Role:

Tenable is seeking a Senior Recruiter who will be responsible for hiring some of the most critical leadership roles at Tenable. We are seeking a cross functional, polished, creative, experienced Recruiter who understands the importance of building strong relationships with candidates and business leaders alike. The Sr. Recruiter will provide a consultative, strategic approach to Tenable executives and leaders and build solid rapport and long-lasting relationships with candidates.

Your Opportunity:

  • Develop & implement effective and innovative sourcing and recruiting strategies to attract and source high quality leadership and executive level candidates
  • Source and identify qualified passive candidates
  • Screen and assess candidate qualifications for job fit
  • Schedule and coordinate telephone and in-person interviews
  • Develop talent pool through creative sourcing techniques including referral generation, networking, and direct sourcing
  • Participate in marketing events, user groups, and industry specific interest groups to build relationships and a candidate pipeline.
  • Develop creative, out of the box recruiting methods
  • Develop strong communication channels with internal and external clients by earning respect and acting with the greatest amount of polish
  • Assist with the creation job descriptions and job postings
  • Manage applicant’s information and update status on applicant tracking software system Develop research to map our markets and generate candidate names and profiles; create and execute robust search strategies that will attract the best and brightest talent; calibrate candidates with hiring managers
  • Develop prospects into candidates. Engage, sustain relationships, screen and interview
  • Continually contribute to the knowledge base of the group sharing new information about industries and talent pools or profile types
  • Prepare/contribute to search status reports and lead/participate in client update meetings on active searches
  • Provide strategic guidance and become an advisor to executive leadership in matters related to top technical talent
  • You will be a top technical recruiter. Whether your background is corporate/in house, search firm or boutique you will be genuinely interested in and the go-to person for technical industry searches, specifically in a research and assessment capacity
  • Clear written and spoken communication. Experience in negotiation, advising and influencing executive leadership
  • Proven ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment. Resilience under pressure. Polite push back when required. Ready to collaborate and bring ideas to the attention of the whole team. Confident when working autonomously

What you'll need:

  • Experienced. 10+ years recruiting experience (including at the executive level within the tech industry) with direct sourcing skills and a proven track record of success
  • Ability to prioritize workload, manage deadlines, and multi-task in high growth, fast paced environment
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Must be very organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff in a professional manner
  • Ability to work effectively independently as well as cooperatively with a team
