Your Role:

At Tenable, the work that we do matters in delivering industry-leading cyber exposure products. Our mission is to help our customers understand and manage their security vulnerabilities and effectively manage their cyber-exposure risk.  As the Sr. Product Manager for Cloud Security and Compliance, you will be responsible for building and managing the product roadmap and contribute significantly to the strategy for your products. This includes maintaining, prioritizing, aligning and socializing product goals and requirements to meet the needs of our customers and partners.

We’re looking for a PM who has a strong technical background and adept at leading, influencing, and inspiring collaboration across cross-functional teams. In this role, you will partner directly with engineers and architects to define and deliver our solutions. This is a high visibility product management opportunity with global impact. The ideal candidate will have a mastery of CSP infrastructure, services (AWS, Azure, GCP) configuration, DevOps delivered applications, and demonstrated excellence in delivering security SaaS products. 

Your Opportunity:
  • Understand and empathize with customer and business needs and translate into actionable product plans and requirements. 
  • Lead regular customer engagements to gather feedback on product needs, requirements, and challenges to inform the roadmap.
  • Understand the competitive landscape, be the first seller of the product, and illustrate positioning for all audiences for the product story
  • Produce agile artifacts such as journey maps, personas, success criteria and user stories
  • Partner with DevOps team to clearly define scope and priority for delivery of security and compliance feature initiatives. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure internal alignment on product requirements, goals, execution, and ongoing support.
  • Lead meetings with Sales, Support, Customer Success, and other teams to gather feedback/requirements and keep them informed about changes and product plans
  • Constantly reduce adoption friction and obstacles in the customer’s journey to success with the product
  • Own the financial performance and partner with the key stakeholders for Go-to-Market initiatives 
  • Light travel (15%) to company offices, planning sessions, and customers.
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in computer science, engineering, design or a related field; Masters degree a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architect, Management Consulting, Product Owner or related customer facing roles
  • At least 2 years of experience and demonstrable accomplishments in Product Management and/or strategy experience with Cloud-based solutions (for example SaaS, IasS/PaaS, etc.)
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit and be able to work independently and effectively in a results-oriented, efficient environment
  • Experience with design-thinking, design sprints, and leveraging usage metrics to drive roadmap highly desired. Demonstrable track record as an empathetic listener and team player.
  • Demonstrated success translating complex qualitative and quantitative customer feedback into successful products/features/solutions. Must be comfortable managing and putting structure around ambiguous problems.
  • Experience with Cloud Architecture and DevOps / Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts and the SDLC in an agile/scrum environment
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage, align and prioritize a backlog of competing priorities. 
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data from disparate sources in order to drive conclusions and recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to multiply knowledge – document research findings, market analysis, and product requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences. Constant producer of artifacts.
  • Ability to work with and lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skill
