Seller Enablement Program Manager

Your Role:

The Tenable Seller Enablement Team is all about improving the experience between the buyer and everyone who represents Tenable – helping sellers to be the best they can be. From Demand Reps, to Territory Managers, to Channel partners and more, we are the engine that ensures they have the content, training, and coaching they need to succeed.

As a Seller Experience Program Manager, you will partner with the Seller Enablement leader to drive execution. More specifically, your job will be to ensure proper execution of all of the Seller Enablement programs. You will break down strategic elements into manageable steps, create governance for external stakeholder to follow, create collateral the describe the programs, and ensure important details are not overlooked. You will also coordinate various teams around key projects to ensure the right work is being done well and on time. This role requires a strong execution focused person who is comfortable designing and documenting processes and digging into details while diplomatically ensuring that various stakeholders follow the plan.

Your Opportunity:
  • Tactical ownership of seller enablement programs
  • Designing and documenting processes and procedures
  • Breaking down strategy into practical and achievable technical steps
  • Ensuring deliverables are correct and on-time
  • Point person for teams like Marketing, Services, Research, Sales Strategy and Operations, etc. to drive their needs through our programs. Ensure they feel supported
  • Ensure we are using the right metrics for success and ensuring they are in place
  • Coordinate Seller Enablement and extended teams around major projects
  • Identifying action items and ensuring responsible parties are executing against them
  • Co-Developing the collateral that supports Seller Enablement programs
  • Ensure adequate follow up that increases knowledge retention
  • Ensure various content and artifacts are kept current and fresh
  • Take ownership of areas for improvement and see them through
What You'll Need:
  • Strong writing, spreadsheet, and process documentation skills
  • 5+ years experience program or project management background
  • Strong self-starter – must be able to operate with minimal day to day direction
  • Strong drive and focus – ability to work on detailed projects and manage distractions to completion
  • Diplomatic – ability to guide execution, hold accountable, and set standards with team members without being off-putting
  • Organized – able to handle multiple projects at once
  • Teachable – willing to learn and be coached
  • 25% Travel – you may need to travel on average of one week per month
And Ideally:
  • CyberSecurity, Sales, Sales Enablement or Training background – Having exposure to our discipline or those we are supporting will improve credibility and accelerate your understanding of your place on the team
  • Strong Presentation Skills – will give you more opportunity for visibility within the organization
  • Experience partnering with a strong strategic visionary style leader – knowing how to work with one and being comfortable with different strengths and perspectives will shorten the learning curve
