Sales Operations & Strategy Analyst - APAC

Your Role: 

As a member of the Sales Operations team, the Sales Operations & Strategy Analyst will be responsible to support the Director of Sales Ops & Strategy for APAC and EMEA as well scoping, defining and building the analytical requirements for Tenable’s WW Customer Success organisation.

This really is a unique and exciting career development opportunity for anyone wanting to develop their career in sales operations based out of Sydney or Singapore. In addition to periodic activities such as territory reviews, forecast calls, relevant project-based work, fiscal year planning, foundational and deep dive reporting and analysis, among other things, this role will provide an opportunity to develop skills in sales strategy, go to market plans etc and will provide valuable career growth towards a future senior position in sales operations.

The ideal candidate must be team-oriented, demonstrate strong reasoning and communication skills, both oral and written to the internal sales leadership team and other cross functional leaders.  He/she will be passionate about their work, detail-oriented, analytical, and have excellent problem-solving abilities. Tenable’s philosophy is to equip our sellers with the insights they need to perform their function to utmost effectiveness. Candidates who can demonstrate experience in this area will have an advantage.


Your Opportunity:

 

  • Serve as a trusted adviser to the sales team and other departments pertaining to sales
  • Provide regular insights to the business on how to improve performance
  • Regularly analyze territory productivity, pipeline activity, customer activity, in support of “running the business” and planning activities across the acquisition and customer success
  • Work with cross-functional teams, to identify and implement new or enhanced processes for the Sales or Sales Operations team
  • Provide ad-hoc reports and insights as required
  • Help with customer proposals for large enterprise type proposals when necessary

 

What you will need:

  • 1-5 years’ experience in a fast-paced technology company with knowledge of Finance and/or Marketing processes related to Sales is preferred
  • Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM system
  • Experience using Tableau or similar business intelligence tool
  • Experience in a channel based sales organisation preferred
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Great customer service skills; Sales-oriented; Sales-centric; Sales-friendly

Ideally: 

  • Associate Degree in Business or related field preferred
  • Sales at Tenable encompasses acquisition and retention elements, so prior experience across both functions will be a bonus
