Sales Engineering Enablement Specialist

Your Role:

Tenable is seeking a talented candidate for enablement focused on the Sales Engineering roles at Tenable and in our Partner base, to support our rapidly growing technical sales team. This individual will possess innate technology rigor, strong organizational skills, and the ability to build a world class enterprise technical selling enablement framework. In this role, you will be responsible for the onboarding and progressive role-based technical sales training program for our internal and partner audience. You will work within the Sales Enablement organization and cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Customer Advocacy, and Sales leadership.  This is a critical, high-visibility opportunity, where you can make an impact in one of the strongest cybersecurity companies in the world.

Your Opportunity:

  • Construct a global enterprise technical sales enablement program.
  • Create tiered competency level enablement programs for internal and channel technical sellers to include basic, foundational, advanced, and specialist levels
  • Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of technical training products and programs including classes, workshops, learning modules, job aids, and materials for distribution to internal and partner technical sellers
  • Design and develop technical sales enablement programs aligned to key priorities identified by senior leadership
  • Develop a mentor/coaching program across technical sales roles

What you’ll need:

  • Enablement background including the design, development, and execution of technical sales training programs including new hire, ILT programs, sales skills development, and certification
  • Examples of technical sales programs from original concept to final metrics tracking
  • Experience facilitating and delivering in-person and web-based training sessions to global audiences in North/South America, EMEA, and APAC
  • Excellent communication skills including presenting, editing, and writing
  • Creative, high energy individual with a sense of humor and ability to work with a wide range of personalities
  • Experience with Salesforce, Brainshark, Docebo, and Tableau
  • Experience as an SE in the field or at minimum lengthy exposure to working with SE team members so as to understand that role and its needs
