Sales Development Representative, Enterprise

Columbia Gateway Drive | Columbia | Maryland | United States | 21046

Your Role:

The Sales Development Representative III supports internal and remote sales teams in multiple regions and is responsible for generating new business via inbound and outbound phone opportunity qualification.

Your Opportunity:

  • Follow-up on inbound sales inquiries to generate new sales opportunities and pipeline.
  • Perform outbound calling to generate new sales opportunities and pipeline.
  • Generate a minimum of 10 new sales opportunities per month for sales Territory Managers.
  • Make 40 outbound calls per day / 200 per week to sales prospects.
  • Promote Tenable events and webinars for the region supported.
  • Research target accounts for outbound call campaigns.
  • Manage and update the company’s contact and account databases as it relates to their respective regions.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

What you'll need:

  • 1+ year of experience in sales or similar client support role is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and capable of accurate work with minimal supervision

And Ideally:

  • Computer proficiency – experience using Salesforce.com or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools 
  • Bachelor’s degree
