Recruiting Coordinator (Contractor)

Pacific Highway | North Sydney | Australia | NSW 2060

Your Role:

The Recruiting Coordinator (RC) works closely with a team of recruiters in a fast-paced organization. The RC is an integral partner in supporting recruiting and pre-employment activities, whose top priority is to deliver world class service to our candidates and hiring teams. The RC will also work closely with management to deliver accurate reporting and system audits as well as act as an ATS (Applicant Tracking System) administrator.

The RC will work 5 hours a day, Monday through Friday. 

Your Opportunity:

  • Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews including travel arrangements as needed. Interviews may be virtual or on-site
  • Host candidates while on-site, ensuring a positive experience for the candidates and interviewing teams
  • Provide follow up correspondence with a sense of urgency to candidates, the Talent Acquisition team and hiring teams
  • Advocate for the candidate and deliver a world class experience
  • Create and maintain a series of reports used to measure the completion and success of tasks throughout the recruitment process
  • Act as a super-user for our ATS, including posting and updating job requisitions, updating candidate statuses, tracking recruiting activities, and ensuring accurate data within the system
  • Facilitate background checks and notify Management of any screenings that are overdue or not in compliance
  • Support pre-employment activities and the transition to HR for onboarding as needed
  • Maintain files and documentation on candidates to ensure compliance
  • Identify opportunities for improvement of the candidate experience and scheduling efficiencies
  • Maintain confidentiality on matters that require discretion
  • Assist Talent Acquisition projects and activities as assigned

What you'll need:

  • 2-4 years of coordination or administrative support experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly engaging person with genuine passion for delivering outstanding service
  • Strong calendar management skills
  • Superb attention to detail, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment
  • Experience in creating and maintaining reports with accuracy
  • Ability to adjust schedule as needed
Ideally:
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ideally Jobvite)
  • Experience with Google Product Suite and Excel
  • Work experience within Human Resources or Talent Acquisition
