Technical Alliances Manager

Your Role:

The Technology (Tech) Alliance team at Tenable is chartered with building relationships and technical integrations, with leading companies in the cybersecurity and IT arenas.  We are passionate in our belief that we need to work with others in a collaborative and coordinated way, for our customers to more effectively protect their organizations, their customers and their employees.  We make great products at Tenable but, building out a great ecosystem of friendly partners is critical to an overall Cyber Exposure approach and to the success of Tenable. Tenable is looking for an Operations Manager, Tech Alliances.  Reporting to the VP of Tech Alliances, this role will be responsible for the management of the overall Tech Alliance partner program including working with tactical partners, handling operational functions and tracking/reporting on key metrics of the team.  

Your Opportunity:
  • Own and drive the overall operational aspects of the technology alliances team at Tenable
  • Respond to, triage and track all inbound partner inquiries
  • Manage a group of tactical partnerships from inquiry to onboarding to continued support
  • Own the Salesforce.com use of the Technology Alliances team for tracking and reporting
  • Drive and track the Not for Resale (NFR) program for technology partners
  • Be responsible for Technology Alliance team interactions with Tenable Communities
  • Coordinate with Marketing on the creation of partnership materials such as the Tenable Tech partner website, our partner websites and solution briefs
  • Working with the Events team at Tenable, coordinate the Tech Alliance and partner presence/interactions at Tenable Edge (user conference), RSA and Blackhat industry shows
  • Manage the tracking and reporting of KPIs for the group

What You'll need:

  • 8+ years in a similar, business development, sales/sales operations, channel/channel operations, product management, project management or field marketing role
  • Be able to manage multiple tasks in varying stages at the same time
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams both internally and externally to explain, understand, manage, and implement partnerships and projects
  • Combination of ownership and support capabilities and a team player
  • Strong project management experience
  • Detail oriented
  • Good communicator verbally and in writing
  • Ability to be partner facing and effectively represent Tenable
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
  • Tableau experience a plus
  • Proficient with productivity suites from Microsoft and Google, especially presentation apps
And Ideally:
  • Knowledge of the cybersecurity industry
  • BA/BS or other degree
