The ISR Manager position is responsible for helping to ensure the success of the Tenable Inside Sales team’s goals and processes, as well as contribute to individual ISR growth and success.

The ISR Manager will also be responsible for - but not limited to - the following:

  • Function as first line of management to deal with ongoing questions and concerns related to the ISR sales process or Tenable systems, policies/procedures (etc.).
  • Handle general product related technical questions that don’t need to be escalated to an Engineer, further discuss how to overcome sales prospect concerns and related issues that can potentially slow down the sales process, and address any other issues that arise. ISR Managers are responsible for escalating any issues to the Director of Inside Sales.
  • Help drive success of ISR KPIs.
  • Review new business and renewal quotes to ensure accuracy for new and current ISRs when applicable. (Discounts still need Director and VP approval as appropriate).
  • Listen to ISR’s calls on a regular basis and provide feedback/direction to ISR & Director.
  • Assist with calling strategies & sales campaigns for new and existing ISRs.
  • Assist in new ISR training and ongoing ISR training.
  • Reinforce ISR processes, messaging, and sales methodology.
  • Create a formal “ISR Sales Training Manual” that outlines product knowledge, qualification requirements, day to day processes, overall strategy and requirements for ISR position, and related systems necessary to perform daily job duties.
  • Attend and participate in System Integration meetings (ie: SF.com).
  • Maintain regional coverage for ISRs that are out of the office on PTO (or other types of leave).
  • Assist in the interview process for new ISR’s.
  • ISR Timecard and PTO approval.
