Graphic Design Intern

Your Role:

Tenable, a Columbia, MD based company, is seeking an enthusiastic and creative individual to support our Marketing department as a graphic design intern. Throughout the internship, you will be involved in a variety of projects with fast turn-around deadlines. Intern will have overall responsibility for working on a variety of projects primarily applying established corporate branding specifications to ensure brand integrity. The responsibilities of this position will vary based on the needs and priorities of the company and will provide career experience in the marketing field.

Your Opportunity:

  • To enhance and apply established branding guidelines of the Tenable brand including, but not limited to:
    • PowerPoint Presentations/ Slides
    • Collateral (Data Sheets, Whitepapers, Case Studies, etc.)
    • Social Media Branding
    • Print and Web Advertisements
    • Trade Show preparation
    • Other support materials that may come up
    • Help tell the Tenable brand story and ensure our vision and message is clearly, visually, and professionally presented

What You'll Need:

  • Flexibility to be a hands-on team player adding value, creating strategies, and assisting where needed
  • Candidates should be in pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor, or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution in Graphic Design or related field. 
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience
  • A portfolio of sample work and projects  
  • Experience in typography, layout, composition, color theory, and information design
  • A solid understanding of design fundamentals and conceptual skills
  • Energetic, creative, eager to learn and professional
  • Well organized and proactive with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines in a multi-tasking environment
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

Samples from a portfolio of work is required for this position.
