Director, Global Travel and Expense

Your Role:

Tenable is looking for a Director, Global Travel and Expense. As a member of the finance team leading corporate travel and expense (“T&E”), you will manage all aspects of global T&E administration, including overseeing and ensuring adherence to the Company’s T&E policy, development/supervision of a corporate-wide credit card and purchasing card program, and driving efficiencies and cost savings.

This includes Concur Travel and Expense optimization, customer service, communication skills, business intelligence, training programs, expense and audit process compliance.  Your goal is to deliver efficient travel services with high customer satisfaction while maximizing travel policy compliance and savings. 

Your Opportunity:

  • Manage the global T&E program and various online booking tools
  • Monitor day-to-day operations of the T&E and corporate card programs, including driving global best practice and consistency projects, improving overall T&E user experience, ensuring timely completion of reports, and resolving customer service and technology issues
  • Provide employee training and communication for travel and card programs
  • Negotiate all travel and card program related contracts to optimize travel policy and program compliance, spend visibility, employee satisfaction and maximum cost savings
  • Monthly travel KPI analysis reporting to management team to support budget and policy compliance objectives
  • Drive efficiency and cost savings through development of internal controls, analytics, reporting, auditing and training
  • Monthly T&E and purchasing card spend analysis report and rebate forecast month-end close reporting and reconciliation of expense report activities
  • Prepare benchmark presentation against best practice and industry peers for pricing, compliance and traveler satisfaction

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
  • 10+ years of experience managing global travel program and multinational company experience required
  • Experience with Concur, NetSuite ERP, and corporate card programs
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to manage significant projects including system implementation
  • Detail oriented, excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem solving skills and ability to apply sound judgment to complex business transactions
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision
