Field Product Manager

Your Role:

The Field Product Manager  supports and works with Product Management, Engineering, Product Marketing, Sales, and other internal teams to guide on how Tenable products and services could be used to best suit customer needs. This supporting role is critical in defining how to deliver value out of existing, new and emerging technologies.  Acts as the expert in Tenable products and all things cybersecurity.

Your Opportunity:

  • Use technical skills to demonstrate to potential customers how and why to use Tenable products
  • Support the Sales and Customer Success, and Sales team on complex technical engagements
  • Presents roadmaps to customers and analyzes feature requests
  • Speak at events about Tenable’s technology, developing content and ideas to share
  • Potentially help identify and develop new product capabilities
  • Work closely with Product Management and Product Marketing on new releases
  • Work closely with internal and regional teams to identify and understand regional and innovative customer use cases and the unique value of Tenable products
  • Become a subject matter expert on new adjacent markets as Tenable acquire technologies or create new functionality
  • Assist on sales technical escalations and enablement
  • Other related duties as required

What you'll need:

  • Experience with Tenable.io, SecurityCenter, Nessus, or other network scanning technologies
  • Solid foundational knowledge of TCP/IP and network security concepts
  • Knowledge of compliance standards, both domestic and international
  • Knowledge of specific customer service standards and procedures
  • Must be detail oriented and capable of accurate work with minimal supervision
  • Travel expectation will be approx 50%
And ideally:
  • Bachelor's Degree, 5-7 years of security experience, CISSP
