Field Marketing Manager - West

Your Role:

As the West Field Marketing Manager on the Americas Marketing Team, you'll be responsible for the development and execution of the field marketing plan for the Western Region of the US.  You will work closely with the territory sales team, channel sales team, channel partners, global campaigns and corporate marketing teams to plan, execute and measure ROI of field marketing programs. You will be directly responsible for joint marketing plans, budget allocation, programs, demand generation, event management, program adoption, execution, related communications, and metrics tracking and ROI.

Your Opportunity:

  • Plan, execute and measure ROI of field marketing programs. You will be directly responsible for developing integrated marketing plans targeting both prospects and customers that will result in increased pipeline and brand awareness for your region
  • Work hand-in-hand with Sales, channel account teams, and Global Campaigns to gather territory requirements and build marketing campaign plans to support pipeline targets that are aligned to corporate objectives and regional sales goals
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business and act as primary marketing contact with local sales team and leaders, including regular participation in sales team calls, in-person meetings and planning sessions
  • Plan and execute marketing programs and activities including seminars/conferences, webcasts, digital marketing and email campaigns
  • Execute on event strategy, tactical plans and project manage from beginning to end including all logistics, onsite execution and post event analysis
  • Drive joint marketing programs with top regional channel partners to drive pipeline and increase partner engagement
  • Assess and identify the appropriate mix of direct and partner-led marketing programs to achieve target marketing contribution goals (MQL/SQL and pipeline contribution)
  • Manage budgets, forecast and compile reporting metrics for each specific program
  • Develop quarterly marketing plans, track projects and manage lead follow-up
  • Research, select, negotiate and manage vendors and services
  • Measure each project against goals and follow-through to completion both on time and within budget
  • Guide and ensure consistency of corporate message throughout each program

What you'll need:

  • Proven experience in regional marketing and a history of achieving pipeline goals
  • A sense of urgency and desire to work and win with a team of smart, hard-working and collaborative people
  • Ability to build a strategic plan and clearly tie program execution and pipeline metrics up to the strategy
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and all levels of management
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and willing to travel within territory
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with quick deadlines
  • Strong project management, negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Use expertise and creativity for innovative marketing recommendations and solutions
  • Self-motivated, innovative and creative
  • Interest in emerging technologies and best practices in B2B tech marketing
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent plus 5+ years related experience
And ideally:
  • SFDC, Marketo experience
  • Security industry experience
