Field Marketing Manager - ANZ

Pacific Highway | North Sydney | Australia | NSW 2060

Your Role:

The Field Marketing Manager ANZ is responsible for creating and executing Tenable’s field marketing plan for the ANZ region. The position is a combination of both field and channel marketing and is measured by all the usual lead generation process metrics and most importantly, qualified sales pipeline generation and growth.

In this role you'll have a direct impact on the success of our ANZ field and channel sales organization. This newly created role will work closely with the APAC Marketing and ANZ sales teams, to define and develop the programs and processes Tenable and its partners need to drive sales across all sales segments.

Your Opportunity:

  • As the main contact for all ANZ marketing, the Field Marketing Manager (ANZ) will be tasked to develop and execute field marketing and channel activities in alignment with APAC regional sales and marketing goals
  • This role holds both field and channel marketing support (including Distributors, VARs, SIs and SPs) responsibilities across ANZ
  • Build and execute the ANZ field marketing strategy, definition, implementation and metrics
  • Develop and execute tactical local marketing campaigns & activities, online and offline, including web & digital, as per the agreed plan for ANZ
  • Leverage global campaigns/ launches and localize to meet ANZ market requirements
  • Own lead management, analysis and reporting for ANZ
  • Work with sales to ensure leads are managed on a timely basis & properly dispositioned
  • Ensure appropriate allocation and management of the ANZ field marketing budget
  • Develop and manage user case studies and references
  • Local PR/ social media responsibilities as and when required
  • Manage third party agencies as and when required
  • Ensure channel sales requirements are effectively included in Channels program/offer development. 
  • Work with partners to drive Tenable’s and partner sales growth, enablement/success and loyalty to Tenable through the development of multi-quarter co-marketing plans, and execute and track success from these programs; provide recommendations for optimization/ improvement as needed
  • Implement the Partner “on boarding” process for new ANZ channel partners
  • Analyze competitive partners go to market marketing programs.
  • Define and deliver a menu of channel partner marketing program offerings to create and drive demand generation programs for partners
  • Drive program awareness, sustained adoption and metrics through inbound/outbound marketing including but not limited to: campaigns, solution offerings, channel partner wins and tools created to help partners grow their businesses
  • Define, communicate and uphold levels of marketing support Tenable will provide for each partner tier
  • Develop, execute and track success of comprehensive marketing campaigns to promote Tenable branding, awareness, lead gen & sales
  • Leverage work occurring on the Technology Alliances side of the business to enable partners to execute joint demand generation initiatives.
  • Manage the marketing budget and track ROI for ANZ
  • Build relationships and work closely with APAC Marketing, ANZ Channel and Field Sales teams to accomplish marketing goals

  • Strong performer with a proven drive to succeed and guarantee extraordinary success
  • Proven ability to collaborate and develop positive business relationships with all cross-functional areas both internally and externally to Tenable
  • Strong B2B marketing and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to develop programs and tools which map directly to marketing / sales needs
  • Experience supporting both direct and indirect sales channels
  • Proven ability to take programs from idea through iteration and delivery
  • Used Salesforce.com to plan online, offline events and email campaigns and track effectiveness
  • Can hit aggressive deadlines while delivering high quality work
  • Ability to work independently in changing environments, and the ability/willingness to learn
  • Enjoy working with a fun, diverse team
  • Interest in emerging technologies and best practices in B2B tech marketing
  • Domestic and International travel required.
