Your Role:

The Senior Manager/Director of FP&A will strive to continuously improve the accuracy and timeliness of Tenable’s forecasted financial results by incorporating the impact of business decisions and trends into our three-statement financial forecast model. The candidate will formulate quarterly and annual financial guidance and monitor progress towards these financial targets in order to suggest actions to address any forecasted variances.

Your Opportunity:
  • Develop accurate and timely financial forecasts by incorporating the impact of business decisions into the financial forecast model
  • Create scenario analyses including to evaluate the growth, profitability and cashflow implications of various avenues related to investment opportunities the company might chose to pursue
  • Develop and optimize performance against key financial indicators relevant to strategic initiatives such as the launch of a new product offering or entry into a new geographic or vertical market
  • Mine historical results for trends to improve the accuracy of forecast model assumptions and drivers
  • Conduct sensitivity analyses in order to “stress test” Tenable’s financial forecasts based on potential changes in business conditions
  • Manage Tenable’s compliance with financial covenants such as contained in a loan agreement
What you'll need:
  • Track record of success guiding the FP&A forecasting process ideally within a public company setting
  • Deep understanding of subscription software business models and/or the Security Software industry
  • Ability to be hands-on within a three-statement model preferably with experience in Adaptive Planning, NetSuite, Tableau and Salesforce.com
  • Enjoys a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with an entrepreneurial culture that may require work outside of normal business hours to meet deadlines
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills
  • Experience working in a global organization
