Director of Field Marketing - North America

Your Role:

Tenable is seeking an experienced field marketing leader with a strong channel, account base marketing, customer marketing and demand generation background.  This role is responsible for developing and executing the overall integrated marketing strategy and demand generation plans to help drive overall engagement, pipeline and revenue growth for the commercial and enterprise business. A key to success is a great partnership with sales, channel and alliances in order to understand market needs/opportunities, targets accounts, and revenue targets.

 

Your Opportunity:

  • Continue to drive the transformation from a legacy field event marketing to targeted account base and customer marketing strategy and execution
  • Elevate the channel partner engagement and collaboration to drive business,
  • Work with partners to build integrated marketing plans utilizing MDF
  • Liaise and coordinate with the Alliance team and directly with partners on the development and management of collaborative marketing programs with defined outcomes
  • Drive integrated marketing programs leveraging global campaigns and content, executing activities that drive the sales cycle
  • Track, measure and report on programs and pipeline metrics across field and channel marketing programs.
  • Drive program efficiencies, optimize across the team and push boundaries on new approaches (scale)
  • Work with SDR teams to drive program success, program follow up, conversation rates and close loop communication
  • Manage overall budget and spend. Leverage analytics and metrics across all aspects of demand generation to ensure ROI and closed loop feedback
  • Support major events and tradeshows
  • Develop / manage region specific marketing content. Manage outside vendors as necessary
  • Recruit, manage and motivate best in class marketing team to support the business and scale for rapid future growth
  • Understand the market trends in the region and customize programs as needed

 

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 15+ years of increasingly responsible experience in marketing. A significant amount of this experience should include work with rapidly growing US-based B2B high-tech companies
  • Data driven mentality
  • Passionate, outgoing personality with strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to lead by example
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, combined with diplomacy and tact, with the strength of conviction to sell concepts and ensure strategic alignment across the marketing and sales teams
  • Hands-on leadership skills with the demonstrated ability to:
  • Hire, train and develop local and remote marketing staff,
  • Build strong collaboration and camaraderie throughout the marketing organization,
  • Motivate people to perform at their best
  • Provide effective and timely feedback to achieve results
  • Creativity and experience building awareness and demand with knowledge of the individual markets
  • Planning, project management and analytical skills with proven ability to track and measure results and make data-driven investment decisions
  • Self-starter and team player who is comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
