Director of Federal Business Development

Your Role:

As the Director of Federal Business Development, you will be responsible for developing the process for identifying and winning program business within the Federal marketplace.  

Your Opportunity:

  • Work collaboratively with our Business Development Manager to develop major programs pipeline, both short and long term
  • Manage bid analysis, compliance matrix development, capture, pricing strategies, and bid response for large programmatic RFI’s/RFPs
  • Identify and communicate with Product Management on capabilities needed for future program compliance  
  • Manage partner alignment on major programs and post-award while working collaboratively with our Sales team to maximize task order wins and successful re-compete of existing programs
  • Forecast revenues based on program wins and milestones, with collaboration from the Business Development team
What you'll need:
  • History of successful program capture within Federal Government
  • Proposal writing experience
  • Previous experience as Capture Manager for large SI, preferred.
  • Strong Program SI relationships
  • Strong understanding of Federal Procurement process, Federal Budget Process, and SI Marketplace
  • Understanding of the FAR, BPAs, IDIQs, Contract vehicles and Teaming agreements
  • Ability to work within teams and across matrix organizations.
  • Technical Understanding of Cyber Security and Cloud, preferred
