Your Role:

Tenable is seeking an exceptional analyst relations leader with cybersecurity experience to help extend our aggressive growth and generate recognition of the new discipline of Cyber Exposure.  In this role, you will draw on your AR expertise, strategic vision, and industry relationships to build highly collaborative and productive relationships between Tenable and the industry analyst community.  You will work closely with product marketing, product management, and executive colleagues to define and execute a strategic plan that is aggressive and results oriented.  This is a remarkable opportunity to make an impact in one of the strongest security companies in the world – join us today!

Your Opportunity:
  • Establish strategic objectives and goals for the analyst relations program and track results
  • Apply strategic vision and insight to map corporate objectives and product plans to AR plans, and execute those plans rigorously
  • Proactively generate ideas, conduct planning sessions, and advise on strategies and tactics to enhance the company’s standing with the analyst community
  • Develop fluency in corporate and product messaging and use this to influence analysts through formal and informal interactions
  • Plan, prepare for, and moderate inquiry calls, vendor briefings, and other analyst interactions
  • Project-manage analyst report submissions, leading your colleagues across the company
  • Educate sales, marketing, product management, and executive colleagues on analyst research and perspectives, to support revenue generation and product planning
  • Collaborate with the Customer Ambassador team to secure customer references for analysts and brief/prepare them for reference calls
  • Publish regular analyst newsletter
  • Manage the AR budget and advise on program ideas
  • Effectively manage team member(s)
  • Must have ability to travel up to 15% of time, including internationally
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally from a top university
  • Substantial analyst relations experience required, including experience leading AR for a high-growth organization
  • Experience in cybersecurity industry a must, preferably for an enterprise software vendor

  • You are a seasoned analyst relations professional who is passionate about making strategic contributions to a market-defining company
  • You have built positive, productive relationships with key security analysts at the leading firms
  • You enjoy actively crafting the AR narrative, tailoring it for each analyst, and rolling up your sleeves to help create content as needed
  • You can demonstrate specific results where you helped improve your company’s positioning with leading analyst firms
  • You are self-directed and can independently identify business needs and define and execute complex work plans to address them
  • You build effective working relationships with geographically distributed colleagues
  • Your organizational skills are impeccable
  • You maintain a positive, flexible attitude and sense of humor (we enjoy our work and working with one another!)
