Director of HCM Technology

Your Role:

We are hiring a Director of HCM Technology within the Business Platforms IT department. This your opportunity to define the vision, leadership, support and overall HRIS delivery within a publicly-traded high-growth Cyber Exposure company. In this role, you will create and lead best practices in HR technology, process improvement and HR system administration. You will partner with HR and business leaders to offer solutions that leverage systems capability, improve data analytics, and evolve the function.

Your Opportunity:


  • Develop and lead a human capital technology strategy and roadmap that supports the achievement of strategic business objectives both short and long term.
  • Manage and support all HR information systems on a worldwide basis along with enabling, enhancing and automating defined processes in Workday and other HCM systems including Xactly, ADP, Jobvite and Concur related to: Core HCM, Reporting & Analytics, Talent and Position Management, Time & Attendance, Sales Compensation & Benefits and Core Annual Processes.
  • Support the HR business systems requirements including system architecture, upgrades, configuration changes, enhancements and strategic implementation projects.  Includes partnering closely with HR SMEs to ensure systems enable critical business processes in an efficient and user-friendly way.
  • Coordinate and communicate all HRIS related activities including program and project management.
  • Manage vendor relationships and procurement including RFI and RFP efforts.
  • Work closely with Business Platforms IT Integrations team to ensure all integration efforts with HR systems are aligned with business requirements.
  • Lead the day to day operations of the HRIS team members in support of the team, business priorities, and company vision
  • Grow and develop talent
    • Attract and onboard new team members
    • Meet regularly with team members through scheduled 1:1s
    • Provide ongoing feedback and support to further enhance team members performance
    • Help employees develop skills that support their career interests
  • Deliver results through teamwork
    • Plan and prioritize work, providing tools and resources and helping to remove roadblocks
    • Facilitate open discussions and encourage diverse points of view to make good business decisions

What you'll need:

  • 7+ years in-depth HRIS experience including HR data management
  • 5+ years experience leading and developing a team and delivering results
  • In-depth and hands-on experience with Workday required
  • Expertise working with Xactly, ADP, Jobvite and Concur preferred
  • Solid understanding of BI and DataWarehousing concepts and methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability with identifying gaps cross-functionally between HR processes, HR systems and implementing process improvements and technology to ensure operational excellence and instil innovation.
  • Experience working with confidential information and critical business processes required
  • Experience working with global HR data in publicly traded company preferred
  • Experience implementing and managing ITGC SOX controls and global regulatory compliance
  • Strength in development of process & procedures
  • Solid understanding of HR business procedures and practices
  • PMP certification and/or Lean/Six Sigma certification a plus
