Customer Marketing Manager

Your Role:

The Customer Marketing Manager, EMEA primary objective will be to drive pipeline growth for the EMEA revenue expansion number and secondary to this will be to support the total renewals number with a joint go-to-market plan involving various key stakeholders across the organisation.
Partnering with the wider sales and marketing teams in Tenable is key to the success of this role.  Working closely with the regional field marketing managers to execute customer activities in territory, the global marketing team to build out company wide processes for lead management and success measurements as well as the customer success managers and sales teams to drive pipeline growth to support the revenue goals.



Your Opportunity:

  • Planning: Ownership of the customer marketing plan development and execution working in conjunction with various roles in the organisation to build out a comprehensive plan to increase customer stickiness, loyalty, a positive interaction and communication cadence with Tenable.
  • Webinars: Execution of monthly product focused customer webinars for upsell, cross-sell and expansion objectives. Working with various departments on content creation and delivery.
  • Events:
    • Partner with the field marketing managers to execute local regional user groups/roadshows in key countries once a year.
    • Local point of contact for the customer advisory board working closely with the customer ambassador team
    • Work with Global Events team on EDGE London
  • Customer Case Studies and other collateral: Internal promotion of the Customer Ambassador Program to sales to increase engagement from customers. Work with local agencies to get case studies developed and promoted externally.  Increase the amount of approved customer logos, event speakers, webinar & podcast participation from customers.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Have a deep understanding of the various customer segments across EMEA, suggest potential growth areas for customer activities based on data. Work with various parts of the business to design and implement a customer marketing lead flow and follow up process with key measurements to track success.


What you'll need:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing technology products and solutions B2B, channel and direct. Security software a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience and results in the following areas:
    • Building and executing an integrated comprehensive marketing plan to achieve objectives
    • Skilled at building and maintaining strong relationships with sales teams and other areas of the business
    • Understanding of reporting and analysis to measure against goals and communicate success back to the business
  • Writing skills – small pieces of copy writing and editing/reviewing skills as needed for campaign development and execution.
  • Understand CRM (preferably Salesforce.com) and how the CRM system works together with Demand Generation and automation tools.
  • Understanding of the channel, routes-to-market and marketing to/through/with partners
  • Key communicator with various internal departments, key stakeholders and external customers
  • Independent worker with high self-motivation and sense of urgency. Organized, meets deadlines, keeps management informed.
  • Critical thinking, problem solving, analytical thinking skills. Able to interpret data, make inferences, apply toward business objectives. Create context and have a point of view.
  • Communicator, listener, thinker. Able to understand and synthesize internal, customer and partner care-abouts.
  • Able to take direction and run with it. Envision the end result, make recommendations, act and leverage your resources to execute and manage obstacles. Comfortable bringing information and recommendations to management.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in fast-moving environment.
  • Collaborator, influencer, change agent with an upbeat work ethic where you can take ownership and have fun. High energy.
