Your Role:

The manager of content marketing provides a combination of deft project management skills with strong writing and editing skills. The manager is responsible for content flow, writing, review and editing within and across departments, including but not limited to top-of-funnel assets (e.g., infographics, videos), blog posts, long-form assets (ebooks, whitepapers), solutions marketing, digital and print collateral, research, thought leadership, etc. 

Your Opportunity:

  • Develop content strategy and calendar and execute against it, integrating KPIs with broader marketing objectives and plans
  • Maintain blog calendar, working closely with bloggers on originating and refining content for publication on or external outlets as appropriate
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure content receives adequate promotion (e.g., newsletters, community, social)
  • Participate in cross-functional brainstorming sessions to devise new content plans for solutions marketing initiatives and corporate marketing projects 
  • Work with senior manager to maintain content library and content calendars
  • Work closely with senior manager and senior creative director to assure brand and style guides are adhered to
  • Deliver monthly reports and metrics on content performance
  • Work hand-in-glove with the web team to refine internal processes and assure our web content is consistent, shares the same voice as directed by senior manager(s) and adheres to brand and style guides

What You'll Need:

  • 5-10 years' writing and editing experience with at least 5 years' direct experience as a content strategist or equivalent role (agency experience is a plus!)
  • Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal
  • Ability to foster long-term relationships with key professionals
  • BA/MA degree in Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, English or a related discipline
  • Travel Requirements: 20 percent or less
