Your Role:

The Benefits Administrator is accountable for performing the day-to-day and administrative functions for Tenable's benefit programs, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision, short and long term disability, life insurance, supplemental life insurance, commuter benefits, COBRA, FSA’s, HSA’s, wellness, leave of absence, workers' compensation, and 401k. This position will monitor all aspects of benefits administration. This responsibility includes maintaining associated records, follow-up with employees, managers, and vendors, as well as compliance with local, state and federal regulations.  The Benefits Administrator will be responsible for distributing communications, maintaining employee and benefit records and working with HR Business Partners and managers to ensure compliance with company policy and to assist with accommodation of work restrictions and reasonable accommodation requests.
 
Your Opportunity:
  • Administers and communicates benefits program in regard to plan options, policy features, enrollment and other requirements
  • Primary responsibility for Leave of Absence administration for US and Canadian employees including requests, approvals, tracking and coordination of all types of Leaves
  • Manages Workers' Compensation claims administration, OSHA reporting and follow up requirements to re-assess and/or accommodate disabled workers, as applicable
  • Ensures benefit plans are administered in accordance with external regulations and internal processes
  • Administers and coordinates activities associated with the Wellness Program and recommends initiatives consistent with the mission and vision of the Wellness Program
  • Coordinates open enrollment, benefit programs, and employee education meeting
  • Respond to customer service phone calls to resolve employee benefit questions regarding Tenable's benefit programs and other benefit
  • Audit, process, activate employee applications, benefit changes, updates or initiate benefit separation documentation, as applicable, on benefit provider web sites
  • Monitor benefit database integrity, ensuring invoice accuracy, reconciling account discrepancies, and submitting timely payment requests on a regular and systematic basis
  • Audit, process, activate employee applications, benefit changes, updates or initiate benefit separation documentation, as applicable, on benefit provider web site
  • Track, record, monitor and report on all employee leave of absences, adhering to Federal and State regulatory compliance requirements and/or Tenable leave policies in a timely manner
  • Organize special events, health fairs, screenings, blood drives, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
  • Must have 2-3 years of previous benefit administration experience
  • Must have the ability to research, evaluate, and analyze complex technical data related to benefit plans and programs in an organized way
