Your Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, results-oriented intern to join our finance and accounting organization. A successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess the ability to creatively solve problems and think on their feet. Your Opportunity:

  • Monthly close process, account reconciliations, account analysis, and preparation of journal entries within functional areas:
  • Cash – prepare bank reconciliations and associated journal entries;
  • Prepaid expenses – analyze prepaid additions prepare and associated journal entries;
  • Fixed assets – analyze fixed asset additions and prepare associated journal entries;
  • Payroll – record domestic and international journal entries;
  • Ensure documentation of and compliance with proper internal controls and SOX compliance;
  • Provide support for international statutory audits and VAT filings;
  • Preparation of ad-hoc reports;
  • Preparation and completion of other projects and tasks that may be required from time-to-time

What you'll need:

  • Candidates should be currently seeking a bachelor degree in Accounting from an accredited university/college
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who works well in a fast paced, time-sensitive environment
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple and changing priorities
  • Good analytical skills
  • Deadline oriented and the ability to complete tasks independently

And ideally:

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with employees at all levels of the organization
