Innovation is in our DNA. We’re a company that loves to learn, transform, and help our customers feel secure in today’s digital environment. We’re also a company that cares, which is one of our core values we look to practice internally and externally. We were so excited to see posts on our internal blog from our employees sharing their most recent volunteering trip to their local animal shelters. We wanted to share their experience with you, too!
Last week, both of our Technical Support teams from our U.S. and Dublin offices met with their local animal and adoption shelters to volunteer walking and spending time with dogs who were either once abandoned or neglected. The Dublin, Ireland team volunteered at Dog Angels Ireland where their mission is to rescue as many unwanted dogs from harrowing situations and provide them with shelter and love until the non-profit strives to find them new homes.
The U.S. Columbia, Maryland Tech Support team visited with BARCs, a non-profit organization operating Maryland’s largest animal shelter and pet adoption center. They are an open admission shelter, granting refuge to every abandoned, neglected, abused, lost or surrendered animal that comes through the door. A staggering 30 or more animals are surrendered to BARCS every day. No matter what the circumstance, they do not turn away any animal in need of shelter, food, medical care and a loving touch. Yearly, this equates to more than 12,000 dogs, cats, kittens, puppies, and even wildlife and exotic animals that need care and placement.
Way to go, Tech Support!!
