Yesterday, our Dublin office played host to a group of 24 students from Loyola University Maryland as part of their alternative spring break Tech Trek tour. The Tech Trek program is intended to “expose students to the challenges of establishing a successful and globally competitive” technology company, and Tenable is honored to participate.
The event began with a presentation given by our Security Engineer David Bradley covering a high level overview of the company to include topics such as Cyber Exposure, predictive prioritization, our products, core values, and an organization overview. Following the presentation, students were served lunch during which a panel of Tenable employees from Sales, Data Science, Engineering, Research, Customer Success, Recruiting, and Support were available for networking and informal question/answer sessions.
The program, by all accounts, was a complete success. So much so, that we are now looking at implementing this type of “student info day” as a piece of the University Recruiting Program more broadly and bringing students from other local universities and colleges around our HQ locations into the fold. Several students approached our team expressing interest in both full time roles and internships, so expect to see some Loyola Greyhounds around the office in the coming years.
We will be having interns for our second summer in a row this year. Check out more about our global intern program HERE! You could be enjoying this view of the Liffey soon!
